Huluは米国ニューヨークの大手制作プロダクションであるブロードウェイ・ビデオ・エンターテイメントとコンテンツ・パートナーシップを結びました。このパートナーシップにより、米国で最も人気のあるNBCユニバーサルの人気深夜生放送番組「サタデー・ナイト・ライブ」の最新シーズンが初めて日本で視聴可能になりました。エミー賞を多数受賞している「サタデー・ナイト・ライブ」は2012年9月15日（土）(EDT 東部夏時間) に第38シーズンを迎え、日本では米国での放送後数時間後の9月16日（日）よりHuluを通して、最新シーズンをお楽しみいただけるようになりました。

「サタデー・ナイト・ライブ」は多数のキャストによって米国のカルチャーや政治をパロディ化したコメディ番組です。それぞれの放送はセレブリティ・ゲストによってホストされ、音楽を演奏するゲストも各回招かれています。9月15日（土）に始まった第38シーズンは、人気アニメ「ファミリー・ガイ」のクリエイターであるセス・マクファーレンがホストをつとめ、フランク・オーシャンを音楽ゲストに迎えました。翌週以降もホストに映画「インセプション」や「ダークナイト ライジング」で知られるジョゼフ・ゴードン＝レヴィットや「007シリーズ」のジェームスボンド役で知られている俳優のダニエル・クレイグらを番組ホストに迎え、イギリスのバンド　マムフォード・アンド・サンズやミューズが音楽ゲストとして登場予定です。

「サタデー・ナイト・ライブ」をはじめ、日本映画・アニメ・ドラマ、ハリウッド映画・ドラマ、その他海外映画・テレビ番組などのプレミアムコンテンツを月額 980円(税込)で Hulu にて全て見放題でお楽しみいただけます。これからの作品はすべて、スマートテレビ、PC、タブレット、スマートフォン、ゲーム機、セットトップボックスなど様々なインターネット接続デバイスにて視聴可能です。
各エピソードは米国での放送直後は英語で配信されます。追って日本語字幕付きのエピソードを配信予定です。

Hulu welcomes “Saturday Night Live” to Japan
Season 38 exclusively available on Hulu just hours after airing in the U.S.

Hulu Japan LLC (Minato-ku, Tokyo, Managing Director: Buddy Marini. Hereafter: Hulu) has signed a content partnership deal with Broadway Video Entertainment, Inc. Through this partnership, Hulu welcomes the most current season of America’s most popular late-night sketch TV series “Saturday Night Live” to Japan. “Saturday Night Live,” an Emmy Award-winning comedy showcase, entered its 38th season on September 15th, 2012, and the latest season became available exclusively on Hulu on September 16th, just hours after the season premiere aired in the United States.
“Saturday Night Live” revolves around a series of sketches, performed by a multi-talented cast of actors and comedians, which parody American culture and politics. Each episode is hosted by a celebrity guest and also features a musical guest. The 38th season kicked off last Saturday, September 15th , with “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane as the host and musical guest Frank Ocean. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will host on September 22nd, and Mumford & Sons will make their debut as the musical guest. The following episode on October 6th will feature “James Bond” actor Daniel Craig with musical guest Muse.
Each SNL episode will be available in English hours after the initial US Broadcast. Japanese subtitles will be made available a few days later.
