なかでも注目は「ドクター・ハウス」。「ドクター・ハウス」は、アメリカですでに7シーズン目を迎えている医療ミステリーの超傑作です。天才的な頭脳を持った医者ハウスが、チームメンバーとともに、他の医師たちでは解明できない難病の原因や治療法を追究していきます。主演はイギリス人俳優ヒュー・ローリー。“患者は嘘をつく”をモットーとするハウスは、対面する患者の命を救うためならなんでもやる、という、無愛想ながらも人間味のあるキャラクター。今回Huluで視聴可能になるシーズン1では、エミー賞の脚本賞を受賞。また、主役のハウスを演じるヒュー・ローリーは、ゴールデングローブ賞を始め、数々の賞を受賞しています。

Popular shows “House,” “Ghost Whisperer” and Season 8 of :CSI: Miami” now available on Hulu!!

“House” is a mega hit medical mystery series which recently began its 7^th season in the US. The main character Dr. House is a medical genius and spends his time investigating with his team members the underlying causes of many serious illnesses and their treatments. The British actor Hugh Laurie plays the main role, whose underlying belief is that patients naturally lie and so he uses various tactics to treat them not necessarily based on what they say, but in any way he can to save their lives. The first season of “House” won an Emmy Awards for outstanding writing for a drama series. Also, Hugh Laurie has won numerous awards for his portrayal including Golden Globe Awards.

There are also many other great new additions such as “CSI: Miami” Season 8 which has been released on DVDs this year, and “Ghost Whisperer”　Seasons 2-4 which is a popular show in U.S. and Japan. Please enjoy!
