3月22日に発売開始された、NTT西日本のセットトップボックス（ＳＴＢ）「光BOX+」にHuluのアプリが搭載されています。このSTBは、テレビとインターネットに接続する小型の機械で、アメリカではすでに広く普及しています。STBに搭載されている様々なアプリを利用して、テレビ画面でテレビ番組以外のことをお楽しみいただける便利なデバイスです。
使い方は、とても簡単。まずは、NTT西日本の「光BOX+」をご用意ください。そのデバイスを無線もしくは、有線のインターネット回線につなぎ、STBをHDMIケーブルでつなぎます。あとは、電源を入れてHuluのアイコンをクリックするだけです。「光BOX+」は、日本初となるHulu対応セットトップボックスす。リモコンもついていますので、簡単にリビングルームのテレビの大画面でHuluがお楽しみいただけます。お手軽にご自宅のテレビをスマートテレビにできるのでおすすめです。Hulu以外にも便利で楽しめるアプリが入っています。詳しくは、ＮＴＴ西日本のホームページをご覧ください。

Hulu is now available through a STB for the first time in Japan with NTT WEST’s “Hikari BOX+”, making it easier for Hulu subscribers to enjoy Hulu on a TV. The Hulu application is preinstalled on all “Hikari Box+” devices, which let you easily connect your TV to the internet. “Hikari BOX+” offers various applications for users to enjoy on their TV screen.
The “Hikari Box+” is very easy to use. After connecting the STB to the internet, you simply connect the STB to your TV through an HDMI cable. With the click of a button, you can now access Hulu instantly on your large-screen television in your living room. You can purchase the “Hikari Box+” on the NTT West website.
